Horses and donkeys are both members of the equine family, but they are different species with some notable differences in their appearance and behavior.
Horses are generally larger and more slender than donkeys, with longer legs and a sleeker, more streamlined body. They are known for their speed and agility, and are often used for riding, racing, and other equestrian sports. Horses come in many different breeds, each with their own unique characteristics. Our horses, "Hank" + "Clyde" are clydesdales, a draft horse (or heavy breed) that originates from Scottland where they were traditionally used to help with farm work.
Clydesdales despite their large size are typically gentle, easygoing horses and Clyde + Hank are no exception to this! They both love attention (& treats!) and are very curious about anyone new! .
